We're looking for a Director to work in Technology. This is a Permanent position offering 401k, Healthcare and Competitive Commission.

The Company: 

You will report to the board of one of the leading companies in recruitment to launch and subsequent growth of the North American Technology division. You will operate as part of the Senior Leadership team, with responsibility for launching the U.S. technology offering across Projects and Change, Data, Cyber, Infrastructure, and Dev ops.

You will be in charge of the strategic development of the U.S. proposition at a very exciting time. You will responsible for leading, managing & growing a team: focus on productivity and performance

The Role:

  • Working collaboratively with the Board to define and agree on the Technology strategy and business plan; including an outline of our value proposition, vision, P&L, and hiring strategy.
  • Set and agree on targets with team members in line with Annual Team Business Plan.
  • Manage the delivery of the business plan, ensuring achievement of both revenues and contribute targets.
  • Coach, support, manage and motivate team members to achieve monthly/quarterly and annual fee targets in alignment with our internal performance management standards, “ What Good Looks Like” (WGLL).
  • Regularly review consultant performance against KPI/Metric targets and WGLL, where and when required take remedial action to improve performance and/or initiate the performance management policy.
  • Provide accurate and timely performance feedback to all team members and devise ‘Career Plans’ by the effective use of the quarterly Personal Development Plans.
  • To review remuneration with the team members, determining and presenting pay reviews when required.
  • Build in-depth competitor awareness and forge relationships with competitor consultants with a view to them joining the company.
  • Engage with and recruit incremental hires or make replacement hires.
  • Ensure personal and team compliance with statutory requirements, the business processes, and internal procedures.
  • Continue to personally produce fees in line with outlined targets and, in addition, develop new business opportunities for colleagues and team members.
  • Working collaboratively with other divisions supporting the cross selling of other group services and offices.
  • To seek opportunities to engage in the tender for preferred supplier list and play an integral role in the production of responses to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Personally uphold and consistently display the group’s values and ensure team adherence to these.

  • You will have experience in performance management: you will be able to manage accountability and delivery of targets through team and management team.
  • You will be able to identify hiring needs and hiring scope and deliver on a hiring strategy.
  • You will enjoy creating and driving a team vision and culture.
  • You will have commercial acumen and demonstrate the ability to drive a client acquisition strategy and development of a brand in a new territory.
