The Role: 

  • You will lead the existing Energy practise in Europe with an initial focus on Clean Technology & Renewable Energy: Clean tech: Solar & Wind E- Mobility & Storage Grid Services Disruptive Technologies Renewable Energy: Hydrogen Sustainable fuels
  • You will manage a delivery consultant initially with a view to developing a team when ready.
  • Revenue and impact: You’ll be personally motivated to achieve a strong commercial performance that inspires those around you, utilising the Research Team and other functions to enable your revenue growth. You’ll operate in a place where commercial and sustainable impact meet to achieve the best results possible.
  • Creating, delivering & scaling a commercial market strategy: You’ll create a market strategy that articulates a clear vision for growth and aligns with the wider business’ commercial and sustainability goals. You’ll also take ultimate accountability for achieving your market’s revenue and headcount plan.
  • Identifying & winning new business : You’ll be tenacious about building and nurturing senior-level relationships within your market and work to leverage these for the benefit of your team and the wider business. You will actively craft proposals to pitch and win new business within the Renewable Energy space.
  • Building your brand alongside: You’ll personally deliver on a number of key strategic marketing initiatives that align with your strategy and help to position you as the ‘recruiter of choice’ in your market.
  • You will nurture and manage existing accounts to further penetrate and win new business.
  • You will leverage all of the resources including: Frameworks, Marketing and Data function.

The Person: 

  • You’ll have a substantial understanding of sustainable energy – both the commercial landscape, and key market drivers and risks.
  • You’ll have a strong network and past track record growing recruitment and/or consulting services in: Energy Management and Transition, Carbon Markets and Climate Solutions, Renewable Energy and Clean Technology.
  • You’ll be a strategic thinker who enjoys and is capable of the broad facets of commercial growth including marketing, learning and development, business planning and execution.
  • You’ll have a consultative approach with the ability to partner with clients in the capacity of a trusted advisor.
  • You’ll have a thirst for knowledge and continuous improvement, with the constant desire to demonstrate drive and exceptional levels of service. You have a passion to instil and support the development of a growth mindset within your team.
